I'm laying mosaic wall tiles in the kitchen. they are natural stone and quite thick so i imagine they will be very hard to cut , for example going into a corner. Anyone know if it's possible to cut them and if so what's the best way? Or is it better to just leave a bit of a gap and use a wider section of grout?.

Obviously depends on how thick is quite thick. I would buy an electric tile cutter, they're pretty cheap now < £50.00. Don't use the more grout method, grout is not really meant to fill large gaps, and will probably look a bit rubbish.

Thanks Eddie, I guess you're probably right. I'm just a bit worried trying to cut such a small piece of tile with an electric cutter, but i'll give it a go.

You should be able to use a pair of tile nippers for anything upto about 12mm.
