Hello,
About two years ago we had some damp proofing carried out in the house, by a company who looked professional but I am thinking different now....
We paid around £600 to have a company inject some stuff in our walls from underneath, then to replace the skirting boards, and the walls are still damp two years later.
Have we been conned here?
I will name and shame after I have had it out with the gaffer of the company. The company specialise in damp proofing. I did get a guarantee certificate for the chemical by a company called Wykamol Group. The certificate says Remedial Treatments - rising damp and contains full company details of the building company.
Can somebody advise? just to give you an example of how extreme the damp is, I can run my hands along the back wall of my terrace house, and damp will transfer onto my hands.
