DANGEROUS ELECTRICITY METER AND BREAKER

Please advise,
Would I be putting myself in any danger by setting my computer area up next to the main breaker and electric meter, which is under our stairs in a small room.

my head would be 14 inch away from the main breaker and 10 inch away from the meter.

Thats a pretty big staircase if you can get your computer desk and chair under it. How many turrets in your castle?

Yeah. they were serious about the cup of tea. Easy to just plonk a mug down on something and spill it.
