Davenport Kitchen Tap - spout will not rotate

Hi There,

I have a Davenport kitchen mixer tap (from sanmarcotaps.com) and the spout has become very difficult to rotate after 2 years use - it's ok if hot water is running through it, but becomes stiff when cold. Any ideas if it needs repairing/lubricating, if so how/what type of lube?
