Hi,

We have a 2-3 year old (beko) dishwasher, that trips the power.

Seems to happen when its finished cycle, if we open the door and then turn off the power immediately it will trip a lot of the time.

If you open the door then count to ten, then power off it's fine.

Clearly something wrong here - suspect the switch itself - weird from my point of view that it's when the power if turned Off - not seen this before...

Is it likely to be the switch, or something else?
Happy to replace the unit if there is a safety issue - but would appreciate thoughts from the experts.

What exactly trips, mcb, or rcd, or fuse? Does it have the control panel in the door that hinges down, if so check the wiring harness where the door hinges for chaffed or broken wires.

Hi, the RCD on the consumer unit trips. yes, control panel is on the top of the door that swings down - the cabling is a good shout - thanks.
