Dishwasher Won't Drain

We have a Whirlpool dishwasher that we've bought within the past year. It performs well except that it won't drain. The switch on the bottom of the machine, which we thought needed to be replaced (and we have replaced this week and it did not help) clicks, presumably when the water reaches a certain point in the machine. We've checked the lines, there's nothing in them. For some reason it will not drain.

Does anyone have any advice on what we should check next?

ETA: We have take the propeller off, checked the filters and looked around without seeing anything physical that will keep it from draining.
