Hi, We had an Engineered wooden floor layed @ 5yrs ago and it's lovely, unfortunately there was a tiny stone on some furniture and now the floor has a scratch, I would say 1mm deep @ 6"" long, can I repair this myself? The floor is oiled rather than waxed. We do have some furniture wax that we got with some furniture, can I use that to 'fill in the scratch", or can you get different coloured oil, maybe you can get a multi-pack? I have a small length of spare bet of flooring in the shed I could try it on, I would say that it is a light oak. I have found

It might be a wax? Not sure if it goes hard?
How much might it cost to be done properly?
