As you may have noticed, we have had some trouble this evening.

Unfortunately one of the tables in our database became corrupt. We are in the process of restoring it, but in the meantime posts made today but prior to this evening will be missing. Their places still remain and you will see [ Post temporarily unavailable] in these cases. They will be restored hopefully in the next 24 hours.

Apologies for the inconvenience.

As you can see the gremlins are still meddling. We are working on restoring things at the moment.

The edit button is missing from the posts that were 'damaged', it will return once the restoration process is complete.

Diynot playing up. Trying to reply to post 'need to move a radiator 20cm to the right' on Plumbing and Central Heating, but keeps coming up with the message 'could not obtain post/user information'. No problem elsewhere. :(

Sorry about that. There was a problem with a post in that topic which prevented it from being displayed correctly which in turn broke the posting of replies. I have removed the problem in question and so replies to that topic should work again.

If anyone experiences any similar issues, please let me know.

Thanks :)
