Hi
When we moved into this semi detached house. The childs bedroom was already converted into toilet in the first floor. So we were happy to live with this two bedroom house. Now we are in need of another bed room. so iam planning to convert the existig toilet back to childs bed room and move the toilet to the bolier room where there is sufficient space to install a shower and toilet.
When i removed the carpet in the boiler room i noticed a wooden sub floor.
I intrested in having a vinyl flooring after i build the new toliet room.
1) Do i need to install a plywood on the top of the wooden floor, and then the vinyl flooring. If thats the case do i need to glue the plywood to the wooden floor?
2) If i glue the plywood ,how do i access the shower and toilet if there is a leak.
3) What size of plywood is recommended?
Please give me some good ideas. This is the first DIY whic iam doing it
myself.
Thanks
Lianne
