I have a property that when I took of the fireplace I found the back boiler.

The property now has a combi boiler fitted.

I hear of people removing the back boiler but I have heard it can be very difficult to dispose off.

Is there any reason why i cannot leave it in situ

as long as the bbu has been decomisioned properly, gas & water, then there is no reason not to leave in situ, if you want. you can dispose of at any scrap merchants :!:

Just leave the back boiler in the front garden . I bet you twenty quid the thing will be gone by the end off the day.
