djwheeler, the PCB is 99.9% the fault and with parts and labour the one off fix price seems more than fair.
In response to the warranty issue i have never once had potterton agree to pay for a new board on behalf of any customers. I have tried for a few of them and they have also contacted them to express their feelings about it but have never had one replaced under warranty. maybe they just dont like me?
