I'm not sure if I can post my question here, but going by the pictures provided, does it look like the waveguide need replacing?
A family member recently tried microwaving popcorn, whereby the bag over-expanded - got stuck, resulting in a slight burn to the waveguide.
The microwave has been in use since, but only just realised (perhaps due to moisture and wiping) that there's now a small area of white bits (plastic?). Is this of any concern, particularly to health through consumption of heated food?
Any advice appreciated.
