double pole switch

the double-pole pull cord switch for my shower is supplying electricity to the unit but neon indicator light has stopped working. Should i change it or could it be something serious.

any advice/help please, thanks.

They can sometimes go which is why the pull-switch should also have a form of flag to show you whether it's switched on or not.
