draining hot water

I have a hot water cylinder that is fed from the mains water supply it goes through a special valve with a flexible hose coming off it could you tell me how to turn the hot water off please....thanks

Please expand "......could you tell me how to turn the hot water off please...." as I don't think you mean me to say "turn off the tap".

i need to turn the hot water off at the cylinder to move my bath, so i need to disconnect my taps

You will probably have to turn off the cold feed to the cylinder. It sounds like it is an unvented cylinder, and you should have a manual which will tell you all you need. If you haven't, contact the makers.
