Could anyone who is a dab hand at social media please spread this around?
We bought a fridge from Currys for delivery on Monday 27 November and paid for a door reversal. The fridge arrived but the delivery guy said it was badly damaged, so they took it away. A second fridge arrived the next day (Tuesday 28 November) but the delivery guy said he had neither the tools nor the training to carry out the door reversal.
He said he would ring the office and get me an appointment for an engineer to visit. Well, either he didn't call or the office did not ring me, but I had to ring for an appointment (taking over 35 minutes) which was today, Friday 1 December, between 0930 and 1330.
1330 came and went without an engineer appearing so I rang their "help"line.
They told me the visit would still be fulfilled and to wait in further, as they could be there up to 2000.
At 1800, I rang again and was told, after a delay during which the call centre worker went away to find out what was happening, that no-one would be coming now. I complained that their service was most direlikely and asked when they could come. I was given Wednesday as the next available date.
I explained that I currently had 3 fridges in my kitchen (two old ones and the new one) and was struggling for space.
