My son’s moving into a rented flat that has a mira minimal erd fitted. He’s 6’2” and when stood under the drencher his head touches it. Apart from smashing the tiles to lift the shower valve is there another solution to this ? P.S. there’s at least 4” between the drench pipe and the ceilin. cheers.

If it's the thermostatic one with the round control then its height is non adjustable. Without taking it off the wall, repositioning the pipes etc then it's not getting moved unfortunately.
