Pretty much, everything depending on how far back you want to go

"Air con? I'll open a window. Cruise control? I've got a right foot. Computer? What would I need a computer for son?"
"Cordless screwdriver? Why pay for one of those when I have this manual version and an arm that rotates?"
"JCB digger? Who needs those things when we have this fine army of navvies/convicts/slaves"


So, carry on picking and choosing the solutions that appeal to you and your sense of worth - it's your right, your money. The world will carry on finding problems that are a bigger deal to some people than others and selling solutions for them regardless.
