Hi, I bought an IKEA DW110W dishwasher. When I start a program, after a few minutes I get 4 flashes.

It's not a drain pump issue as it does drain well. Though it doesn't seem to recognize when it's empty.

I read on this post that it could be control board OWI or water indicator defect. //www.diynot.com/forums/viewtopic.php?p=1170668#1170668.

I was wondering if anyone had suggestions on how to test for either the control board OWI (what does this mean and where is it) or the water indicator (where is it)

Thanks for any help.

I managed to solve the pb. No faulty parts, just the water level sensor that was clogged with fatty deposits.

It looks like this:

It's located below the bottom removable filter and it can be removed by removing the right panel of the dishwasher (8 screws) and twist it off (there is a little latch, so be careful not to break it).

After thorough cleaning with hot water, tapping it and using a toothpick to remove all parts of white fatty deposit, and remounting it, the dishwasher worked perfectly!
