Not quite - the plug pins are a few mm inside the holes when the plug is inserted. Still very poor though.Presumably the live and neutral pins of the plug just protrude through the back of the socket, looking at those square holes.
The earth strip is only fixed at a single point in the centre and bends when the screw is tightened. The terminal screws are also some strange slot/cross hybrid mess, which no screwdriver will fit into properly.
