Electric heating systems?

Hi, we plan to put an electric heating system in to a small bungalow. Are these system cost effective compared to gas heating? Are they also much cheaper to buy/install compared to gas central heating?
Any advise appreciated.

gas around 1/3 the price so electric will never be cheaper untill gas doubles in price

Even is gas doubled in price, electricity would also go up, as a substantial amount of it is generated by burning gas.

Electric heating - best avoided unless there is no other option.

i meant in relation to
then a ground sourced or air sourced system at about 1/3 ratio would have a chance
