I have recently fitted a triton rapide 4 plus electric shower followed all the guidelines to the letter. The shower is 9.5kw,the cable is 10mm,mcb is 40a. The mcb has been fitted onto the rcb side of the CU which also caters for sockets with a 32a mcb and cooker with a 40a mcb, the rcb is an 80a/32ma. Everything is plumbed in correctly and from what i can see there is no dammage to any wires or fixings but the problem is that soon as i try to turn on the mcb for the shower it trips rcb! Can anyone please help???

You may have got the neutral for the shower in the wrong busbar.

50p says the Neutral wire for the shower is on the non-RCD Neutral Bar inside the CU (Split-load CUs have two neutral bard).
