My crystal ball says your isolator is knackered - get a new one.

Before you fit the new one, remember to switch off the 'leccy, note what wires go where, and also have a good look for any signs of overheating on both the cables, and the switch.

Mechanical failure....buy a new one and replace it.

Chances are you'll find some melted cables behind the isolator. I recommend you dont use the shower until you have visually inspected it.

Replaced the isolator, all seems to be in working order. I will get my brother,he's a leccy, to check it(as I am a female)
