Is there an electric heating system that will provide instant hot water, enough to fill a bath? I dont have mains gas and wondered if I could replace the existing large immersion heater/tank with a much smaller instant hot water system. I guess it will be more expensive as the current system uses economy 7 to heat the water over night, but as we have showers much more often than a bath and the existing shower is an electric shower, it wouldn't make too much difference cost wise?

You might as well use your electric shower to fill the bath - you won't get a domestic instantaneous heater more than about 10kW anyway.

Yes it will take a while ...

run 2 in parallel :)

22mm feed, 22-15mm tee, through both heaters then back into another tee and on to the tap..
