just been having a chat with mrs J about the fat dead rocker, mainly about how many songs he sang, ive been searching the net and found its well over 300 but cant seem to get a figure, i guess last resort would be to get a discography and count but FT!

I wasn't a big Elvis fan, but I am kind of surprised that people in general aren't a little more compassionate about his fate, considering his background and upbringing---he had a lot to overcome and he did. His talent got him where he reigned and his fame is what did him in.
