En-suite Cold Water Feed

The cold water pipe to my en-suit currently runs from the cold water tank to the power shower, toilet and the basin. Is this correct or should the basin cold feed come from the rising main ?

doesnt have to, depends on the plumbing.

only drinking water i.e kitchen needs mains feed.

in old houses anyway.

as said can be tank fed or mains.

only the kitchen must be mains fed potable water.
