I need some advice. I recently moved into a house that has a partition wall built into it. I did not know this was there until i small hole was made into the plaster and you could see right through into a small space. I believe someone may have begun a fitted wardrobe project but did not complete it.

My query is that there is no door into this specific space. I would like to add a door into the stud wall however what sort of tradesman do I require to do this? A carpenter would be able to do the frame and door etc however who would be able to make the space for the door frame?

Thanks in advance :)

No one in there right mind would build a wall first and then fit a door, probably just a sound insulation job, how deep is the space , how wide is the wall?
