Is that quote just for the EPDM or is other work included?
And is it a porch or the dormer on a 15 storey mountainside chalet?
If its just for the covering on a porch, then its more than twice as much as it should be

Typically to supply and fit EPDM, depending where you are in the country it is around £60M2. This is EPDM materials only, and wont include OSB, scaffolding etc etc...
For a 5m2 Roof I would say £500 tops...
