Hi,

After stupidly releasing the air pressure from the expansion vessel on this boiler I now need to charge it. I have bought a footpump for the job and have read the faq for doing this, however I cant find the required pressure in the literature for the boiler.

Does anybody know the pressure required for this boiler?

Thanks

Pippo

I would say 0.9 and then pressurise the system to 1.5 Bar.

0.7 is about right if you only want to pressurise to 1.0 Bar.

Setting to 1.5 Bar gives more time until the pressure falls to a point where the boiler will not work well. Thats an important point with tenants who cannot check are repressurise.

Thats assuming a normal situation of a two story house with the boiler and pressure gauge downstairs.
