Ages ago - in the 70a I installed a chainlink fence using a kit from Sears. the Slide hammer (2handled open-ended pipe) slid over the aluminum fence post and was used to pound the anchor in place. the anchor was 2 pieces of fabricated metal that when joind - looked like a circle in an X - >O< . the post went in the circle - the X was pounded in ground, and no concerte - btw - the fence and post still stands.
