when opening the hot tap the boiler fires up ok then after 10 seconds it cuts out

When the case that coveres the combustoin chamber fan etc is taken off the boiler seems to work fine. hot water fires up to right temp and stays on...

I checked the two hoses that come off the fan to see if they were blocked. clear

I have a feeling its something to do with air intake? a problem with the fan..maybee? any one come across this before?

cheers

try the combustion chamber for more detailed "ripping boilers apart" info, especially gas/safety bits

if venturi is red it requires changing to white/brown also wromg size restrictor ring above fan can also be problematic dont attempt if you are unskilled inthis area of work
