Got a problem with this two boilers. Same problem. The hot water over heats and the burner shuts down after about 20 secs. Went for the obvious and had the D.H.W. sensor changed but it wasn't that. So the guy suggested changing the board. Bit drastic maybe. Could it be limit thermostat? He suggested changing the boiler as the boards are a couple of hundred but there must be an easier solution. Anyone got any suggestions for me. Thanks

Are the 2 boilers in different locations or the same place? Bit odd for both to have the same fault. What do you mean by the burner shuts down. Does the burner modulate down to the minimum rate and then off? Or does it stay at maximum and then off? Does it then come back on? What do the lights on the front do? Does the lockout light come on?
The OP has not properly explained the situation or who the "guy" is.
However, clearly the guy is not a competent boiler engineer!
Get someone who understands boilers and is CORGI registered and your problems should be solved!
