Need to replace a small flat roofed canopy over front door before it falls on someone's head. I would prefer to use fibreglass rather than felt. I have never worked with it before.

(A) As it's a very small roof, can I buy fibreglass and the curing compound in small quantities or maybe a kit for small jobs?

(B) Can I do an upstand where roof meets wall with the fibreglass to seal against bricks, or best to put in a lead flashing?

(C) Should I pitch the surface of the roof to drain to the side, ie. avoiding draining over the front above where people walk in and out of door? Or don't these roofs normal have a fall?

(D) Lastly, the canopy has been botched in the past. It has the self-adhesive bitumen flashing tape/band on at present. Will this be difficult to remove from brickwork? Will a blow torch help?

Thanks for any advice.

Thanks for your reply. It's a bit of an odd size and layout and as the roof overhang (bungalow) not far above canopy. Also, it has to match neighbouring bungalows. Not seem anything off the shelf suitable.
