Hi I have a 2001 mk4 fiesta with an indicator problem - it occasionally sticks on and flashes alot faster (may even stay on altogether). Is this likely a problem with the relay on the indicator stalk? I'm planning to take the steering wheel cover off and have a look. Is there a way I can test it and where would I get a new one from? Thanks

When you have the problem, play with the stalk to see if it changes? But most likely the stalk.
If both sides come on, most likely the hazard warning switch

How on earth do you get the bottom cowling off? I've taken the top cover off but the bottom wouldn't budge even though I'd taken out all the screws. Looks like the ignition switch is preventing it from pulling out and I don't want to pull too hard in case it snaps it!
