basicly i am making these small plant labels, about 100X25mm and i need desperate help finishing them. at first i used chesnut melamine spray, which gave a great finish but is too exspensvie. i then brought some gloss B&Q yathc varnish which gave an uneven finish which i couldnt get rid of by sanding.
so i was wondering if i could get away with this http://www.agwoodcare.co.uk/show_product.php?id=266
or if i need just a regular satin finish
it should be noted that i use birch plywood and a clear wood preserver after i have applied my chosen finish.
