I am fitting an external door. Will finish cutting the frame for it tomorrow.
Decided to cut the door to size, since the opening is between a window and the bathroom. No room to expand it.
Anyway. The problem is the opening, timber frame, is out up to 6mm in various places. Just wondering what type of wedges to use? Seen plastic spacers on sale online. Can I just cut thin 2mm bits of card/wood and use them as wedges?
After applying sealant around the frame, I assume, I just need to render the edges?
