hi there

i have double garage that has 2 day/night lights and sensors attached to a 2 gang switch in the garage that is permittley turned on. the lights and sensor work fine from this source.

my question is i wish to install a 150 watt PIR security light to the same supply, can i do this, and if so do i wire to the switch or do i install junction box and spur from that.

thanks for any help

How is the circuit wired?

What size cable?

What size fuse/breaker?

the light switch is connected to garage fuse box for feed, the two external day/night sensors from 2 gang switch. cable is standard for outside lighting, fuse is 6amp

sorry john1951 still more info required.

in what order do things run?

ie cu>light>switch

or ?

there is no such thing as standard cable by the way

hi there

the wire is 2mm as far as i can see my be 2.5,
the switch is supplied from the circuit breaker/fuse box and then wired to outside lights.
so it goes CB/FB - SWITCH - OUTSIDE LIGHTS
