I hope someone can help me - I'm a complete DIY novice!

I currently have two pendant fittings in a large lounge and I'd like to fit spotlights instead to give a softer light.

I really like these from B&Q:

I think they come with a transformer which fits over the pendant - does this need to be at the end of the wires, or can it be fitted in the middle?

Sorry if this is a really basic question but I'm completely new to all this![/url]

Depends on what it's made to do.

Unless someone here has installed one your best bet would be to go to your nearest B&Q and actually look at one.

Watch out for this guy though....

No, the transformer replaces the pendant, or it can be mounted alongside and use the flex drop to power the TX. But this would look rough, IMO.

They can normally be fitted anywhere along the track / wire, but best see them in the showroom to find out first.
