fixed shelves in alcove

I want to put up 5 shelves in an alvove to the left hand side of my chimney brest. I have measured the walls and lo and behold there isn't a rightangle anywhere to be seen! i want them with concealed fixings and attached to the wall on the three sides, As the three sides of the wall are neither flat or at right angles to each other what is the easiest way to go about making/installing them?

Cardboard template, measure cut, measure cut etc until it fits perfectly, then use this as your guide. You will probably have to do one for each shelf if walls are so bad.

There are different methods to achieve what you're after Florrie. Depending on the width of your alcove, you can screw and plug battens in like this :

Then MDF or Ply on top cut using Deluks' method (in this case 12mm MDF) :
