Floor mounted boiler and Tumble Dryer combo!

Hi,

We have just had a new floor mounted combi put in. Do you know whether I can put a tumble dryer on top of it or would it effect the boiler (too much heat generated for example). If so I could put the TD on brackets but how far above the boiler should I site it?

if you put it directly on top the only thing taking the weight is the boiler case
not renowned for their strengh

the minimum distance above the boiler you can put anything will be in the instructions. (given to you by the installer i hope!)

But good practice would be to place it futher away your boiler can take the heat, your tumble dryer probably can't.

but kevs right would you stick it on top your new car?
