My radiators are hotter at the top than the bottom and I'm told that this means they need to be flushed out. How do I do this? Do I need special equipment?

I am not a plumber or heating engineer.

The easiest way to do this is to isolate eaach radiator (the valves at either end) take the radiator outside and put a hose on it, it is also a good idea to undo / remove the bleed screw.

When the water runs clear put the raditor back, oen the valves and if you have a combi boiler re pressure ise the system and bleed the radiator
