Ford Mondeo Battery light on

Ford Mondeo has had a new alternator fitted, battery is ok but the battery light has come back on. any ideas?

Faulty alternator fitted? poor or disconnected alternator connections?
Did you do it yourself or have a garage do it?
If a garage did it, then the onus is on them, to provide you with a working charging system on your car.
