Found notched roof timbers, should I repair it?

Found cutouts to fit wires when replacing existing boarding to beef up insulation.

I wouldn't normally worry as not much is cut away but timber in this area seems structural and is piddly approx 3" X 2".

Am already screwing and glueing CLS timber in the rest of the loft but didn't want to mess around with this section without seeking advice.

Should I repair it, and if so how?

If you are attaching boards you will be increasing the strength anyway. If the timbers are only 3" deep then you probably need more insulation?

That depth of notching won't be an issue, particularly with them being near a vertical support.
