Found some odd stone cover in my garden

I dug up a flower base in my garden then found this odd cover with no markings. Can anyone help figuring out what might be below it? Thanks a lot!

It's a manhole, lift it up and flush your toilet.

Do not cover it over, at one point you will need access to it.

There was a flowerbed on it. I dug it up and wanted to make it part of the lawn instead. Can I still do it? How safe is it to dig around it? What's the worst that could happen?

probably worth lifting it just to confirm what it is? Depening on the size and depth you may be able to replace it with a recessed cover which can be filled with soil and turfed to become less obvious in a lawn.

Oh and its pretty safe to dig around it but again lift the cover to see how deep the pipes are in order not to put a spade through if very shallow

What else could it be? I just found another one 10 ft away! I'm not sure if I should just lift it up. Who should I talk to, water supplier?

I wouldn't be so sure. Every time I've lifted one there has always been at least one massive spider in there!!
