I have a 6m x 6m single skinned block garage with a box profile steel roof slightly sloping from front to back. (Only a few degrees)
I get loads of condensation in the winter so was wondering best way to insulate the roof to prevent this. Joists are running across the garage from side to side and are approx 8" deep so plenty room to fit insulation in.
I would think that just putting insulation in between the joists would just hold the moisture as there is not an air brick in between every space in the joists?
The best guess i have got is to put a layer of insulation under the roof but not touching the metal, and then line with ply/osb etc. Would also have to fit air bricks at the end of every section.
Any help with my options would be great thanks
