Wasnt quite sure where this went.

Recently had my flat garage roof replaced, all timbers everything. started using the garage as a workshop, and winter coming its starting to get cold in there! I could plumb in a radiator, but my thoughts are the heat would be lost through the flat roof anyway.

My question is what type of insulation do i have to use in the roof? can i get away with just using loft insulation? or do i have to stretch to Kingspan or equivalent? at the moment the ceiling isn't plaster boarded, so i was going to do this at the same time as insulating.

Points to consider are, all the electric cables for the down stairs extension run though this roof. So do the pipes for Gas, Hot, Cold, Flow and return.

Pictures can be posted if need be.

Any thoughts? and thanks in advance
