Hi,

I am looking to build a garden room to store a classic car.

I am not an architect, but I think my solution will work

I've put a high speed video together to show you what I am thinking.

I would love input and feedback on the design of the structure and if you think it would work.

Nice one. What classic car?
It will work subject to planning/B Regs if required. Probably not cheap though.
The only problem I have as a classic car/4x4/Lambretta restorer is it should be taller for the car hoist and/or doesn't have a pit. the glass will get peppered from the angle grinder and oversprayed. Glass isn't a good idea for anyone in the garden when using the MIG. It should be at least 3 times bigger, although if it was 3 times bigger I'd still say it needed to be bigger! At one stage I had 7 Lambrettas, a Vespa, Morris Minor, 2 Suzuki LJ80's and and SJ413.

I don't think putting your car on show in a glass case is a good idea. It would be better to build a rusty corrugated iron shack and pile a lot of old junk around it.
