Is there any disadvantage of planting bedding plants..Geraniums, buzy lizzies, rudbeckia...etc in Ericacious compost?

That soil is for acid loving plants, its best for some azaleas, acers, heathers etc but i dont think it would do any harm to your bedding as i put peat around my bedding and thats acid. try gardeningexpert.co.uk for some ideas on planting

All those you mentioned like slightly acidic soil, so will be ok.
