gas boiler

Hi, having proglems with my gas boiler( difficulty in getting boiler to ignite) canany one help

Sorry, first time trying this, boiler is worcester 14/19 cbi model, when i turn boiler on demand light comes on , burner on light comes on then straight of .at the minute i am turning temperature control knob to various positions to get boiler to work.

at risk of stating the bleedingly obvious

its either not lighting or not detecting the flame

is the pump running

is the fan running

whats the system pressure COLD

How long has this been happening?

Has any work been done to boiler or system?

When was it last serviced?
