Hello!
I am thinking to buy a gas cooker. But I don't have any idea about the installation.
:?:
1. Do I have to call someone to check whether I can connect a gas cooker in my house before buying it or there is always a way to connect it ?
2. Any suggestion for who should I call in the area of North London?
3. What is the price that I need to be prepared to pay for the gas cooker's installation?

Thanks!!! :D

If you have a gas meter, there is no problem at all in fixing a gas cooker.
But it is obviously easier and cheaper if you also have a point for a cooker in the kitchen. Then it will be connected with a flexible connection.
It must be fixed by a CORGI registered installer, so consult your local yellow page directory, for Gas Installers, and choose a Corgi one.
If you have a point in the kitchen, they will usually quote you a price over the 'phone.
