Just wondering if anybody can help please?
I have a Straxgas gas fire. The problem is that the spark generator unit only seems to last about 2 years after which I have to keep buying a new one - totally unsatisfactory I think.
So my question is this: can I use another make of spark generator? I realise that it wont fix in with the same fixing points and all that, but as long as it works, and lasts a reasonable amount of time, surely it would do?
Can anybody kindly suggest where I might get one from, and if necessary, what specification I may need? The original takes a single AA battery.
